THA Chief Sec takes Tourism, ex-Chief Sec reappointed to Education

TOBAGO House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Ancil Dennis has assumed the post of Secretary for Tourism, Culture and Transportation, replacing Nadine Stewart-Phillips who held that portfolio since 2017.

And Dennis' predecessor Kelvin Charles has been reappointed Secretary for Education, Innovation and Energy in the Dennis-led THA.

A statement on Thursday from the Office of the Chief Secretary said Dennis, who was sworn in on Tuesday at President's House, St, Ann's, has advised President Paula-Mae Weekes to appoint new secretaries in keeping with section 33 (1) (c) of the THA Act 40 of 1996.
