Aqua Warriors’ Walker to captain XXX CCCAN team

THE 30TH Edition of the CCCAN Swimming Championships is set to be held at the Pisina Olimpico Roly Bisslik, Aruba from June 27 – July 5.

Tobago YMCA Aqua Warriors swimmer, Ornella Walker, has been selected as one of the four national captains alongside teammates Ileana Bocage, Obadyah Ince and Kael Yorke to lead TT’s CCCAN team into competition.

The selected team of 32 national swimmers heading to Aruba to embark on five days of steep competition against home country and other competing islands at the XXX CCCAN Swimming Championships was set depart yesterday.

Aqua Warriors’ Ornella Walker will be competing in the 50-metre; 100-metre and the 200-metre backstroke events and also the 400-meter medley relay. Walker would also have a chance at making her Youth Olympics Qualifying Standard time at the FINA approved CCCAN Swimming Championships 2018.

The Tobago YMCA Aqua Warriors thanked the Division of Sports and Youth Affairs and the TT Olympic Committee for their continued support its young swimmers.
