Police investigations ongoing

NATIONAL Security Minister Edmund Dillon yesterday said police investigations into a report that information about alleged gang members being posted on social media are ongoing.

Speaking in the Senate, Dillon could not say if the police report on this matter would be made public.

He explained that depending on the nature of the report. The Commissioner of Police, Dillon said, would make that determination.

On a report that people dressed in police uniforms allegedly committed a robbery in Central Trinidad, Dillon explained there are mechanisms within the Police Service to account for uniforms.
