Bill Gates is in Trinidad.

Co-founder of Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is apparently here on private business, with details about the length of his visit and itinerary being kept under wraps.

Newsday was however able to confirm his presence here via three sources today (Thursday).

One person recalled seeing Gates "pass through" the street entrance of the TT Yacht Club, Western Main Road, Bayshore late this afternoon.

While there, the computer whiz billionaire signed the TTYC visitor's book, "October 26, 2017. Thanks for your hospitality! Bill Gates."

The yacht on which Bill Gates is reportedly staying on while in Trinidad, alongside the speedboat that the tech millionaire was seen boarding at the Yacht Club. 

Another person said the large yacht on which he's staying was this evening docked in Scotland Bay, Chaguaramas while a third source told Newsday that Gates' visit "is not supposed to be (publicised), so the people in TT who are handling his visit aren't sharing any information."
