MoH: 47 new covid19 cases recorded Friday

Forty-seven new cases of covid19 were recorded on Friday in the Ministry of Health's daily update.

This brings the total active cases to 466.

The overall total is 8,323, of whom 7,712 have recovered. Covid19 deaths remain at 145.

There are 54 hospitalised patients. Eight people are in step-down facilities, 307 in state quarantine facilities and 357 people are at home in self-isolation.

Friday's update said 6,219 people or 0.4 per cent of the population had been vaccinated so far.
