All Stars to perform at Independence Brunch

REIGNING National Panorama Champion Massy Trinidad All Stars will headline the playbill for Newtown Playboys Steel Symphony’s second annual Independence Brunch and Steel Festival to be held on August 31, at Tragarete Road between Woodford and Picton Streets, Newtown.

The brunch will be at the panyard, 64 Tragarete Road from 6 am while the Street Festival will commence at 2 pm.

Entertainment during the brunch and after the annual Independence Parade will be provided by Pelham Goddard and Roots, Lord Relator and host Newtown Playboys.

The sound of the national instrument will fill the air at the Street Festival as Massy Trinidad All Stars, bp Renegades, FCB Supernovas, Skiffle Steel Orchestra and NGC Couva Joylanders present their Independence repertoire to the public.

Admission is free and there will be food on sale along with a well stocked bar.
