Two vehicles stolen in Port of Spain found in Central
THE Stolen Vehicles Squad found two vehicles stolen on August 5 from St James during an intelligence-led exercise in the Central Division on August 6.
A release from the police on August 7 said the exercise was held between 2.30-7 pm on August 6.
The officers went to a house at Perseverance, Couva, where they saw a white Caravan motor vehicle without registration plates near the road.
The Caravan was found to be one of the unregistered vehicles stolen from the port at Invaders Bay on August 5.
The release said the police then went to the corner of Perry and Cemetery Streets, Couva, where they saw a blue Nissan Note with false registration plates parked on a vacant piece of land.
This vehicle was also stolen on August 5.
Investigations are ongoing.
