MEDIA personality and producer Errol Fabien and five other National Transformation Alliance (NTA) members have been selected by the party to serve as "constituency custodians."

NTA leader Gary Griffith hinted that the custodians could be selected as candidates for the constituencies in the next general election.

“Sometimes we call them caretakers. We call them co-ordinators. I can also see them as possible candidates,” said Griffith, thanking them at the party’s headquarters in Mt Lambert on August 3.

“These persons can be of (value) towards the development, not just of the constituency, but that of Trinidad and Tobago.

“So I thank you very much for being patriots of this country.”

The other custodians are Gail Castanada (Port of Spain South), Nicolene Chinchamee (Lopinot/Bon Air West), Norman Dindial (Chaguanas East) and Insaf Enightoola (Barataria/San Juan ).

Griffith acknowledged the NTA members who “have now stepped up, out of their crease, to contribute to (building) those six constituencies.” He vowed to work with them as “patriots of Trinidad and Tobago.”

He also announced the opening of an NTA constituency office in San Fernando West in “a few weeks, and more to follow."
