Two Bloody Bay brothers are in critical condition after they were viciously chopped on their heads on Monday evening.

One man is said to be assisting police with their investigation into the incident at Breadfruit Alley in Argyle.

Police told Newsday that around 7pm on Monday, a Roxborough man ambushed Preston Horsford, 37, and Brendon Horsford, 29 as they were liming in Argyle.

The brothers were dealt several chops to their heads. Gruesome photos circulated online showed one brother with a fractured skull after a chop to the top of his head. The other brother was chopped across his face from his left eye to his mouth. They were taken to the Scarborough General Hospital and remain in critical condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
