THE Prime Minister has said whenever the World Health Organization (WHO) approves a vaccine for covid19, he will be "first in line to get it" when it gets to Trinidad and Tobago.

He made the statement during a press conference at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann's on Wednesday.

Dr Rowley joked, "I will be first in line to have my vaccine."

Addressing Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh, he said, "You will be second."

He went on, "As long as it is signed off by WHO as a scientific product for this purpose, I have no hesitation in taking it myself or recommending it to my family.

"There's nothing that you can offer to the world that will get 100 per cent support from the human population. And therefore, I will not be fazed by comments (against it)."
