Tobago's top three SEA places go to girls
Susannah Thompson is Tobago’s top Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) student for 2020.
Thompson, who attended St Nicholas Private School, passed for her first choice, Bishop Anstey High School.
Lambeau Anglican’s Keyanna Thomas placed second and Jada Gibbs, of St Andrew’s Anglican School, came in third.
The Division of Education, Innovation and Energy on Thursday honoured Tobago’s ten highest performing SEA students at a simple ceremony at the Victor E Bruce Financial Complex, Scarborough.
A shy Thompson told reporters she had aspired to be Tobago’s top SEA student for some time.
She said she could not have achieved her success without the help without the help of her Standard Five teacher and her father.
Saying mathematics and creative writing were her favourite subjects, Thompson said she was no bookworm. She enjoyed swimming in her spare time and also socialised with her family.
