TWO people charged with kidnapping a nine-month-old baby have been denied bail. The police reported Anjali De Gannes, 19, and Judah Taitt, 58, appeared virtually before Magistrate Rajendra Rambachan at the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court Wednesday charged with kidnapping for ransom.

De Gannes was unrepresented while Taitt was represented by Nera Narine. Police prosecutor PC Jaggernauth objected to bail and the accused were both remanded in custody to October 21.
