MoH: Still 116 covid19 cases in TT

The number of confirmed covid19 cases remains at 116 with eight deaths.

The Ministry of Health's 10 am update on Tuesday said 1,582 samples have been submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA). Of those, 1,290 unique patient tests were done and 292 were repeated.

Fifty-nine patients have been discharged. There are nine patients at the Couva Hospital and Multi-training facility, eight at the Brooklyn step-down facility in Sangre Grande and 32 people at the Home of Football in Couva.

The most recent covid19 case was identified on Sunday and the most recent death owing to the virus was reported on April 6.
