Weed found behind shipment of Coca Cola
A LARGE quantity of marijuana was discovered by workers at the Caribbean Bottlers Limited (Coca Cola) factory in Macoya earlier today. Police said that 13 duffel bags of drugs, hidden behind a container loaded with the soft drinks, were discovered by workers.
Investigators from the Organised Crime, Narcotics and Firearms Bureau (OCNFB) and the St Joseph CID are presently at the scene.
In 2013, US Customs and Border Protection officers seized 332 kilos of cocaine hidden inside tins of Trinidad Juice Company juices.
