Charles: All schools ready for re-opening of new term
All schools in Tobago will be ready to be reopened by the start of the new school term on Monday.
Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles, who is also Secretary for Education, said on Wednesday that he was “a report, however I am advised that all (schools) should be ready in time for Monday. About three schools are getting their final touches.”
School repairs began on July 23 with 51 contractors awarded 83 construction packages from a school repair budget of $15 million for all primary and secondary schools on the island.
