Thanks for Richards

THE EDITOR: I was privileged to meet the late Prof George Maxwell Richards at the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in London on November 7, 2005 at the launching of Dr Eric Williams Memorial Collection, “The Economic Future of the Caribbean.”

At that time, the Spiritual Baptist Faith in London was forging ahead from the borderline to centre stage. The late president sent us messages annually at our Liberation celebrations, offering advice and words of encouragement.

The London Forum of Spiritual Baptists believe that God holds the Keys Of Life and Death. We join together in sending our condolences to his wife Dr Jean Ramjohn-Richards, their family and all those who mourn his passing throughout this period of bereavement and join them in giving God thanks for his loyal and devoted service to the people of TT.

We pray that God will strengthen his wife and family as they come to terms with the fact that their beloved one is presently travelling from this earthly plane onto the Spiritual Realm and that his journey will be in the light of God.
