Red light camera system coming for traffic offenders

Traffic lights at the Wilson Road/ Claude Noel Highway, Shirvan Road/ Auchenskeouch/Buccoo Bay Road Intersection, and the Claude Noel Highway/Bacolet Road Intersection will be fitted with the Red Light Camera System to catch motorists breaking red lights.

The Red Light Camera System, which will be fitted onto 35 traffic lights throughout Trinidad and Tobago, allows for photographs to be taken of vehicles that break the red light. This photograph, along with a notice of the fine, will then be mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle.
