Restaurant Week 2017 launches

"Restaurant Week" has officially launched its fifth annual week-long event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The event's general manager and coordinator, Shira Mohammed, spoke of the new additions to the event and the promotional charity fundraiser that will be held.

The event started with only 19 restaurants but now has 80 and counting. This year, they launched a mobile app that allows the client to look up the restaurants, price list and menu beforehand. It also allows for a filtered search and connects to all the event's social media accounts for easy access. Directions to restaurants can also be found within the app. A vegetarian array of dishes has been added to the event's menu specification.

Restaurant week takes place from the 15th to the 24th of this month.
