California man charged with robbery with violence

A 45-Year-old California man will appear on Monday before a San Fernando Magistrate charged with robbery with violence.

Police arrested Perry Vaughn Pollard and charged him on Friday.

Police said Pollard’s arrest stemmed from an incident on December 14 at a house in Gasparillo.

Reports of the incident said a man was approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a chopper.

The man was beaten with the chopper and robbed of a gold chain and gold bracelet.

Police said the men then ran out of the house.
