Last covid19 patient discharged

The last covid19 patient has been discharged from the Home of Football step-down facility in Couva.

The discharged patient came from a family of three who had recently come into the country. Since the Ministry of Health’s Sunday afternoon update, no other samples have been submitted for testing to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA).

The 10 am update on Monday said the number of sample submitted remains at 3,409. Of those, the number of unique patient tests done is 2,901 and the number of repeated tests is 508.

The number of confirmed cases in Trinidad and Tobago is 117, with eight deaths, and the number of patients discharged is now 109.
