Police are human too

THE EDITOR: I was shocked to read and hear some of the remarks (not so much social media) on the error made by some police with respect to the sale of doubles at St Christopher’s Service Station. As expected, it was immediately rectified by our commissioner, a man of principle.

We all make mistakes in life. Police also. I’m sure none of us can say we never did. But then I see and read the comments and amazing concern by Wade Mark. Really? For a misunderstanding over the sale of doubles? Mr Mark, let him without sin cast the first stone.

Let’s be real, who “rejected” the man who is making a difference to our country.

Keep up the excellent work, commissioner, and your team at the TTPS. You have a gruelling task dealing with the pandemic, plus your normal protect-and-serve service.
