PTSC to relocate for Sando Waterfront project

SAN FERNANDO mayor Junia Regrello is promising more employment and business opportunities in the southern city, next year.

He said the Waterfront Development project and similar projects at Skinner Park and the Chancery Lane carpark will begin in early 2019.

One of stumbling blocks for the waterfront project was the relocation of the Public Transport Service Corporation’s (PTSC) garage and office on Lady Hailes Avenue.

Today, he said the PTSC agreed to relocate to Golconda.

Regrello said because of the development projects expected to begin this year, there will be direct employment for contractors and workers.
