AG on SRP's murder: It's Kamla's fault

Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi has denounced the murder of SRP constable Richard Babwah on Monday night and says the blame lies with Opposition leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Newsday spoke to Al-Rawi earlier today, who said he was deeply concerned over all incidents of crime and that the refusal of the Opposition leader to support proposed anti-gang legislation last week was the reason for the attack against members of the protective services. He also attacked the Opposition for what he described as a betrayal in its refusal to support the bill.
