Two injured following separate shootings in Diego

Two men were shot in separate incidents in Diego Martin on Friday night.

In the first incident at about 9pm Salim Ramirez, 25, was liming at Upper Richplain Road when a gunman wearing a bandana to make his face approached him and shot in the chest. The gunman then fled the scene on foot.

In the second incident, at around 10.30pm, officers received information of a shooting on Blue Basin Road. According to reports, Josh Toussaint, 29, was liming with friends when they heard gunshots but did not see anyone. Toussaint then complained of a burning sensation in his right knee and realised he had been shot.

Investigations into both incidents are continuing.
