Murder in Santa Cruz, body found in Caparo

Two men have died in separate incidents over the weekend.

According to reports at about 11pm on Friday residents of Moraldo Street, Santa Cruz reported hearing gunshots. Arnold Dickson, 31, was found on the roadway lying in a pool of blood. He was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital but died while undergoing treatment.

Investigations are continuing.

In the second incident 32 year-old Carlan Emmanuel was found dead on the Caparo Main Road on Saturday at 7am. A number of vehicles had to take alternate routes following the discovery. Emmanuel was an employee of the Chaguanas Borough Corporation. The cause of death was not given but an autopsy is expected to be conducted on Monday.

Brasso Police are investigating.
