McCann PoS wins 23 advertising awards

ADVERTISING agency McCann Port of Spain won 23 awards at the 2025 Caribbean Advertising Awards, the highest number presented at the show. These included both Gold and Silver Addy awards.
In a release, the company said the accomplishment solidified McCann’s position as a creative powerhouse in the region. It said 42 companies from across the Caribbean submitted over 435 entries.
The Caribbean Advertising Awards celebrate the best advertising work in the region.
"McCann’s work rose to the top, earning recognition across a diverse range of clients and categories and winning the most awards.
"The winning work spanned a multitude of categories, showcasing its versatility and mastery of various mediums, including social media, TV, radio, illustration and publications," the release said.
CEO Stephen Look Tong said the agency was honoured to be recognised by the American Advertising Federation Caribbean Awards.
"These awards are a testament to the hard work, creativity and dedication of our entire team.
"We are passionate about creating impactful work for our clients and we are thrilled that our work has resonated with the international judges."
Among the winning entries were:
- Court’s Caribbean’s Christmas campaign, which won gold for radio and a coveted copywriting gold award.
- Bmobile's Iz Ah Vibe Carnival campaign, featuring a music video starring soca star Nailah Blackman, earned gold for music video.
- Angostura’s Dear Santa Paws campaign raised awareness for animal welfare, earning awards in the fiercely contested public service category.
- Angostura also won a silver in the Corporate Responsibility category for the One Too Many Is Too Many social media campaign.
- The Coalition for Domestic Violence's (CADV) Stamp Out The Silence social media campaign earned a gold award.
- BP's Cultural Threads corporate greetings campaign earned both gold and silver awards.
