Plipdeco extends leave of executive members

THE Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation of TT (Plipdeco), after placing vice president Niegel Subiah and corporate secretary Richelle Lyman on administrative leave on January 29, has announced an extension of leave.
In a notice of material change published on the TT Stock Exchange website on March 21, Plipdeco said Subiah and Lyman will see their administrative leaves extended from March 16 to May 2.
Until May 2, finance manager Deera Goorahoo-Ramdeo will continue in the role of acting vice president of business services.
The manager of cargo handling, Clint Duncan, will continue to act in the role of vice president of port operations until further notice.
Planning manager Deoraj Mahase will also continue to act as vice president of technical services until further notice.
For the nine months ended September 30 2024, Plipdeco recorded a profit after tax of $180.4 million compared to $48.23 million in profit for the same period in 2023.
Its revenue for that period was six per cent higher than what was recorded in 2023, reaching $285 million compared to $268.9 million.
