Sunshine Snacks drawing competition winners get prizes

Twelve primary school pupils have been rewarded for displaying their creative skills in the Sunshine Snacks National Drawing Competition.

Pupils from across TT demonstrated their creatively in bringing their favourite Sunshine Snacks to life. This competition, which was aimed at nurturing young artistic talent, gave pupils a platform to express their imagination and showcase their love for the brand, a media release said.

The 12 winners received $1,000 each, along with a special Sunshine Snacks hamper and exclusive Sunshine Snacks tokens for their classmates, the release said.

The young artists created colourful, vibrant depictions of Sunshine Snacks, making their favourite snacks the heroes of their imaginative worlds.

Sunshine Snacks team present $5,000 to Carapichaima Anglican, one of the primary schools to submit the most entries.

Two schools earned the title of Top Schools for submitting the most entries and were awarded $5,000 each, for their outstanding participation and commitment to foster creativity among their students, the release said.

Sunshine Snacks commended the teachers from these schools, whose encouragement and dedication played a significant role in motivating pupils to take part in the competition.

The company said its initiative underscores its dedication to education, youth development, and the importance of fostering creativity from an early age. It believes art and imagination are critical tools in shaping the minds of future generations, and said it was honoured to support and invest in the young artists of tomorrow.

Don-ell Jugmoham, principal of Mc Bean Hindu Primary School receives $5,000 on behalf of the school which won for the most entries in the Sunshine Snacks Drawing Competition. -
