Lotto Madness at SAPA
RS/RR Production Theatre presents its newest comedy, Lotto Madness on August 10 and 11 at the Southern Academy of the Performing Arts (SAPA), San Fernando.
From the theatre producers that recently brought you Love is Ah Wuk! now comes the latest comedy that will have audiences guessing as to who actually won the $30-million-dollar lotto as we follow a trail of deception, lies and money to hilarious conclusion, said a media release.
There is lotto fever in the air. We all go a little crazy dreaming about the great windfall landing squarely in our laps. But what happens if you heard that your spouse won the $30 million dollar lotto but did not tell you? Would you believe the rumour? Would you ask him or her? Or would you hire your own private investigator to find out. Lotto Madness takes a very pointed look at how human beings manoeuvre to achieve their agendas whether they be businessmen, politicians or an overly ambitious husband.
The corrupting power of greed, from high places to the relationship between husband and wife, Lotto Madness takes an insightful comedic look at what happens as trust breaks down because of money, greed and sex, the release said.
Lotto Madness is written by Richard Ragoobarsingh and directed by Debra Boucaud Mason and Ragoobarsingh. The play features a cast that includes Boucaud Mason, Ragoobarsingh, Leslie Ann Lavine, Zo-Mari Tanker and Andrew Friday. Showtime is 8.30 pm on August 10 and 6.30 pm on August 11.
Box office opens at SAPA from 12 noon to 6 pm.
