Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille aims for Pan in the 21st Century title
COURTS Sound Specialists of Laventille will be participating in Pan in the 21st Century 2023. This competition showcases the most distinguished steelbands across the country.
The sponsored steelband will play live at its panyard in Quarry Road, Laventille, on June 3 in front of a selection of Pan Trinbago judges and their supporters. If successful, it will move onto the final round on June 11 at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah.
A media release said, "The steelband has not only represented Courts, but also their vibrant and talented community, delivering performances that continue to astound and inspire. Their participation in this year's Pan in the 21st Century competition is a testament to their commitment to keep our cultural spirit alive. The steel orchestra will be offering their unique and electrifying rendition of Beyoncé's Irreplaceable, promising to be a riveting performance that embodies the dynamism of contemporary music and the tradition of our national instrument."
