Chaguanas girl, 15, missing

Central Division police are appealing for help in the search for a missing 15-year-old Chaguanas girl.

Avalon Reid, who lives at Jackson Trace in Enterprise, was last seen at her home around 11.15 am on Thursday, Old Year’s Day.

A release from police on Sunday said her mother reported her missing at 5.50 pm on Saturday.

The mother’s calls to Avalon went unanswered, and checks revealed that the girl was not home.

Reid, who is of African descent, is slim build and about five feet, one inch tall.

She has a braided hairstyle, dark in complexion and has scars on her right leg.
