Bandits take $60,000, gun, ammo
Bandits broke into a Warrenville business place, Sheik Lisha,owned by businessman Churchill Akaloo, broke open a vault and escaped with $60,000 and a licensed gun, ammuntion and cheques.
The robbery occurred between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Feraz Akaloo 45, a director of the company, arrived at 4.35 am on Thursday and discovered a vault in his office cut open and a cloth bag containing $60,000 and some cheques missing, as well as a licensed revolver and 15 rounds of ammunition.
