CAL flight attendant held with pistol, ammo

A Caribbean Airlines flight attendant and a woman were arrested and a pistol and ammunition seized by Eastern Division Task Force officers in Sangre Grande, over the weekend.

At 8 pm on Sunday, police searched a black Audi A4 sedan parked opposite the Sangre Grande Police Station, with two occupants inside.

They found a Beretta pistol and ten rounds of ammunition on the back seat.

The occupants of the vehicle were a 31-year-old man from Boodoo Street in Sangre Grande and a 37-year-old woman from Malabar Extension, Malabar. Both have since been charged.
