Coast Guard finds man's corpse

The body of a man, clad in jeans, jersey and sneakers, was fished out of the sea in Chacachacare shortly after 5.50 pm on Tuesday.

According to police, Coast Guard officers were on patrol when they saw the body which was fished out and taken to Staubles Bay. It was later viewed by a District Medical Officer who ordered it sent to the Forensic Science Centre.

Homicide Investigations Bureau (Region I) detectives yesterday called on members of the public to assist in identifying the body.
