Maxie’s health continues to improve, says his wife

Minister of Public Administration and Communications Maxie Cuffie continues to improve with each passing day, having recently suffered a "medical episode" details of which have not yet been made public, his wife Hermia Tyson-Cuffie told Newsday yesterday.

“Basically it’s the same thing I am saying all the time because that is the truth, that he continues to improve every day.” She again thanked people both here and abroad for their prayers and outpouring of support for her husband, and she said this support is helping him to recover.

“We are seeing the results every day. The doctors are happy and are energised with what they are seeing. Once they are happy I am happy. That continues to be the situation. I feel very, very happy with how things are going.”
