THE EDITOR: We know the silly season is approaching when those in opposition without a political party want to form one while those with a party want to go it alone. And it’s interesting to hear the opinions of the so-called political analysts.
One recently gave their opinion on the resignation of Gerald Ramdeen as a UNC senator, stating she was sure the party has many bright young people it can call upon as a replacement.
It must surely be a indictment on the UNC, in particular the leadership of Kamla Persad-Bissessar, when after almost four years in opposition the brightest person the party attracted in that time was Ramdeen.
Speaks volumes.
