Roundabout to end traffic jam
THE EDITOR: For too long the users of the Southern Main Road have had to face a numbing traffic crawl around the Chase Village triangle.
This situation can be easily alleviated if a roundabout is built on the eastern side of the flyover whereby vehicles turning right in a southerly direction would instead turn left, use the roundabout and then continue south.
Also, traffic turning right from the ramp should be diverted to the roundabout, thereby eliminating the back-up across the flyover.
Obviously, I take no credit for inventing the roundabout, just to plead for its dire employment.
