Kudos on Vessigny Beach work

THE EDITOR: I was particularly pleased to see that work is ongoing to revitalise and refurbish the infrastructure at Vessigny Beach. It was long overdue.

Hats off to the relevant authorities for the investment that is being made on one on south Trinidad's most iconic beaches.

Upon closer examination I noticed there is a "no vending" sign in the courtyard area near the restaurant. Surely there must be a mechanism by which a limited number of people can be permitted to sell craft items or local delicacies, subject to the appropriate regulations.

It is common knowledge that the courtyard is currently underutilised due to there being no shade.
