We are to blame for chaos in the world

THE EDITOR: The world is in chaos, and there is speculation that the end is near. But most of us fail to understand that the world’s problems are manufactured by the people that exist on this planet; we are all players.

The covid19 virus was merely a subtle warning of things to come. Climate change is real: the intensity of the heat is unbearable, perspiration flows without little or no labour, air conditioners are being overworked, utility bills are skyrocketing, food is becoming scarce, and man is becoming more evil to his surroundings. We have lost touch with life and its existence.

World power is now being forecasted by its players. Every entity is trying to be a force to be reckoned with. Humanity is at risk of becoming extinct. Is there a solution to all of this? My reply is no.

The world’s police are on the rampage, causing mayhem and destruction in the name of peace. When will it end? The forces of evil are everywhere, social media is dismantling our inner being, and love has taken a back seat so the orchestra of life is now without a conductor.

All that is happening is merely a reflection of ourselves, we have become creatures of destruction. We must stop blaming our leaders. We are responsible for their performance. We like it so. As far as I am concerned, God is really fed up with us, he has dropped his hands in dismay. Our prayers will not be answered.

The effects of climate change are manifesting our destiny, but we are still on the merry-go-round, and greed has taken the premier spot in our lives. One of our outstanding achievers has stated that if money is the root of all evil, she wants to be the root.

What we have sown we will surely reap. I rest my case.
