Puerto Rico beat Trinidad and Tobago U-14 girls 3-0

Puerto Rico beat Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 on Saturday in Tier I Group A of the CFU Girls Under-14 Challenge Series in Antigua.

The Marlon Charles-coached TT team had a disastrous start conceding in the first minute of play after a through ball breached the defence.

Despite the shaky start, TT kept Puerto Rico from adding to their lead util the half.

But in the 48th minute Puerto Rico scored again from a fortuitous effort. What looked like a cross from the left flank sailed over the TT goalie and into the far post for a 2-0 advantage.

And in stoppage time TT conceded a penalty which Puerto Rico easily dispatched.

TT play Jamaica on August 21, face Puerto Rico again on August 22, before completing group play against Jamaica on August 24.
