2 held for Arima break-in

Two suspects were arrested by police soon after they broke into a house in Arima on Saturday.

In a media release on Sunday, the police said the home’s owner reported that around 1.30 pm, he left home after securitng it and when he returned a few hours later, he discovered he was robbed of a quantity of valuable items.

Police later arrested two suspects, ages 20 and 18. They are both from Arima.

The release said some of the stolen items were recovered.
