TT men's volleyballers in CAZOVA semi-finals on Friday

THE TT men’s volleyball team won their second match of the 18th Senior Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) Championships at the Anthony Nesty Sports Hall in Suriname on Wednesday.

TT came from behind to win 23-25, 25-18, 27-25, 27-25. TT captain and middle blocker Akim Bushe led TT with 18 points which included four spikes, two blocks and four digs.

The win means TT have two wins and one loss at the championships.

TT will play in the semi-finals on Friday and hopefully play in the finals later in the day. Up to press time on Thursday it was not known who TT’s semi-final opponent would be.
