Sarafat Khan, the managing director of Chief Brand Products, died on Monday, said a post on the company's Facebook page.

It extended sincerest condolences to Khan's family, friends and the Chief Brand Products community.

Chief Brand Products, based in Charlieville, is well known for its wide range of spices, curries, sauces and seasonings.

"Let us remember Khan with fondness and gratitude for the immeasurable impact he made both personally and professionally. The void left by Khan's passing will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him," the post said.

It said, however, Khan's legacy will live on as an enduring inspiration for the generations to come and he will always be a role model for aspiring leaders as an embodiment of unwavering determination and a symbol of compassion and selflessness.

It added, "He leaves behind an indelible legacy that has shaped both Chief Brand Products and the industry as a whole. With his exceptional business acumen and innovative mindset, he transformed the company into a globally recognised brand."

Khan's dedication to corporate social responsibility was unparalleled, as he supported numerous philanthropic initiatives and believed in giving back to society, the post said.

"Through his generosity, countless lives were touched and sustainable development initiatives were launched."

It also said while he was a successful businessman, he was also a beloved figure in the lives of his family, colleagues, employees and the wider community.

"Khan's contagious enthusiasm, warm smile and genuine care for others made him a true beacon of positivity."
