Imagine: The Magic of Christmas at All Saints Church

MW Productions will stage The Magic of Christmas at All Saints Anglican Church, Marli Street, Newtown, under the creative direction of Anton Williams alongside producer Kory Mendez,

Conducted by Joshua Joseph, Shurvone M Brathwaite, Louise Clarke and Shaquille Rose, the show "seeks to re-instil core values of compassion and community, by presenting a programme that would invoke feelings of nostalgia and wonder to its audience," a media release said.

Imagine: The Magic of Christmas features seasoned and professional musicians who make up MW Voices and MW Steel Orchestra, as well as students from Diamond Vale Government Primary School and Maria Regina Grade School in a combined children’s choir. Performances will also come from Victoria Griffith, Natalia Dopwell and LeAndra Head,

Act 1, entitled Pure Imagination, promises to enchant the audience with popular musical selections from various films associated with the Christmas season, the release said. Act 2, The Magic of Christmas, will provide an array of local and classical Christmas selections that celebrate the miracle birth of the messiah.

Showtime is 7 pm on November 26.
