38 new covid19 patients push active cases to 187

THERE are now 187 active covid19 cases in Trinidad and Tobago.

In its 4 pm update on Wednesday, the Health Ministry said 38 more people had tested positive for the virus,

The death toll remains at 141.

Two people have recovered.

There are now 12 patients at hospital, 242 in state quarantine and 137 in self-isolation.

There are no patients at any of the step-down facilities.

In all, 7,575 people have recovered.

The total number of cases recorded to date is now 7,903 and 107, 309 have been tested for the virus.
