5 new covid19 cases

Five new covid19 cases were recorded by the Ministry of Health on Thursday.

The ministry’s 4pm update said there are now 123 active cases. These figures reflect data collected between March 15 and 17.

Deaths remain at 140.

There are 112 patients in self-isolation, 307 in state quarantine, five in hospital and only one patient being treated at a step-down facility.

The total number of cases to date is 7,812. The ministry said 7,549 patients have recovered.

The update said the total number of people tested to date is 103,999, with 49,277 of those done at private facilities.
