Man collapses, dies on Claude Noel Highway

Police are investigating the death of 53-year-old Dane Boyce of John Drive, Louis D’Or in Tobago East.

According to reports reaching Newsday, at about 7am on Monday, Boyce was walking along the Claude Noel Highway when he collapsed and died.

He was close to Shaw Park, near the head office of the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment.

Police said Boyce, who is an identical twin, lived in an extended family home and was last seen alive at 5am.

Traffic in the area was diverted for close to two hours.

His body was ordered removed to the Scarborough Hospital Mortuary where an autopsy is expected to be done.

Investigations are ongoing.
