Hyatt celebrates with holiday menus
HYATT Regency Trinidad is celebrating the Christmas season with a variety of holiday menus at Waterfront Restaurant.
The hotel is offering a Christmas or New Year’s Eve buffet with an extensive menu featuring seafood, meats and festive sides.
The Hyatt said Christmas flavours will take over the Waterfront Restaurant at Wrightson Road, Port of Spain, for lunch and dinner and on Christmas Day with offerings that include a range of spiced sweet potato casserole, traditional festive rice with mixed vegetables, toasted almonds, cranberries, cashews and baby corn, herb-roasted turkey breast with traditional bread stuffing with sorrel and cranberry sauce and honey-glazed ham, peppercorn rib-eye, pan-seared salmon. There will also be an array of salads and desserts, the Hyatt said in a media release.
Christmas lunch buffet continues on December 18 and 23 and Christmas dinner is available on December 18, 19, 25, 26. There is a Christmas Day breakfast and also a brunch. For the New Year Eve, the hotel is offering celebratory dinner, served from 7-11 pm. At $495 per person, it also includes a buffet with favourites such as corn soup and doubles and a countdown to 2021. Guests can also dine indoors or outdoors on the upper and lower terraces.
Executive sous chef Anthony Rattigan said in a media release, “We look forward to this time of the year because we like to provide the comfort of the holidays with an elegant flare for our guests. With everything that has happened this year, we want to give our guests a special “feel-great” experience, with local and international favourites.”
