Comedian Dennis “Sprangalang” Hall is spending his 71st birthday at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope, where he was admitted on Friday.

Hall's birthday is today.

His manager Sherma Orr-Watkins said his condition had improved over the weekend, as he was talking on Tuesday and in better spirits than when he was admitted.

She said, contrary to reports from other media houses on Monday, Hall was alive, well and rallying. She said while a CT scan had been performed on Hall on Monday evening, no other tests had been carried out on the entertainer.

Hall’s wife, calypsonian Natasha “Sexy Suzie” Nurse, on Tuesday said she was traumatised by the reports which were aired on some news stations on Monday evening.

“I come from the hospital Monday night, I leave the doctors seeing about Dennis, everything nice, he was going and do the CT scan yesterday.

"By the time I came home people started to call me to tell me that the news say the man dead.

"When I call back the doctors and them tell me loo,k they now carry him to do the CT scan. All these false news I can’t understand and is they self they feel is OK now, they could call me back this morning that they sorry.

"I don’t know, it’s too much for me and the family at this point.”

Orr-Watkins said the reaction to the fake report incident was a terrible one, but Hall was alive and feeling much better.

On Sunday, Nurse called on the public to lift him up in prayer.

In 2019, Hall was admitted to Mt Hope for multiple ailments including seizures and a mild stroke.
