Tobago rental assistance payments this week

Councillor Nadine Stewart-Phillips on Tuesday said payments have begun in emergency purposes for rental assistance in Tobago. Speaking at a division of health, wellness and family development media briefing, Assistant Secretary Stewart-Phillips said there have been 485 applications for the rental assistance grant in Tobago. She said there are seven verification teams and 200 applications have been verified.

"We expect the majority of payments to be made this week as we have done some payments already in emergency situations," she said.
